Bruce’s Contracting, Inc. was started in 1988 by Bruce and Robin Kriens. They later incorporated in 1992 under the State of Minnesota.

Our company focuses mainly on commercial concrete and masonry, but also does some residential work. At times we have covered much of Minnesota, but our work mainly encompasses the mid-Minnesota area. We are a union contractor, which enables us to compete for larger projects, have access to an experienced labor pool, and to provide our employees with an excellent hourly wage along with good benefits.

Our products include:  Laser Grading (Bobcat & Dozer), Footings, Slab-On-Grade, Foundations, Tilt-Up Walls, Poured Concrete Walls, Slab-On-Deck, Concrete Paving, Sidewalk, Masonry (Brick, Block & Stone). Other specialized work includes project layout with the Robotic Total Station (Geodimeter) for our own projects, for other trades (Excavators) on our projects, or for Construction Management/General Contractors on separate projects.

In addition to the above, we rent Forklifts year round, Ground Heaters throughout the winter months, and we rent the Somero Laser Screed with operator at a square footage price. The advanced equipment we use (Somero Laser Screed, Geodimeter, Laser Bobcat & Dozer), gives us a definite advantage over other concrete/masonry contractors in the area.

Our company prides itself in being very safety oriented and also in keeping our equipment functioning and looking like new – we are noted on the job for both of these items. Our main goal is to provide a superior quality product at a fair price on schedule or ahead of schedule – “satisfied customers are our best ads!”
